So here's what's happening.
When I observed the ICE protests, I saw like when they wanted to release cars to come out, they had the men in all of this tactical gear and they would march them out.
And that was a choice because there were times that they had cars coming in and out that they didn't march all the tactical people out.
So their ability to deescalate was purely a choice.
And I think that is also the case in other cities as well, where they wouldn't ramp up violence and chaos.
They have the choice to do that where they want to be peaceful and just kind of hold people back.
They have the choice to do that, too.
So this is clearly a leadership issue.

My constituent, Frank Miranda, was abducted.
I'm a call it what it is at his place of work.
And he is a U.S.
citizen, was held for hours, released.
No explanation.
Now, this type of dragnet policing and law enforcement to me is reminiscent of, you know, it's just basically modern day slave patrols.
You get a bunch of goons picking up people, no explanation, and then you might let them go after you torture them a little bit.
They don't like the idea of the feds coming in and terrorizing people, especially with no explanation.
