She did.
You know, what I tell folks is there are just some things that are a matter of right and wrong.
And so for people to come forth and express support for the victims, I think that's a good thing.
Now, this whole episode is completely tragic.
And you're probably going to see that there was a pretty sophisticated infrastructure that allowed and enabled this to happen.
I mean, systems and... I mean, I don't have any details, Don, because I was not in the oversight committee, but I think about what happened at Penn State and a lot of heads rolled.
And I tell folks, when you have a large group of people who are taking advantage of young folks engaging in sexual assault, there's an entire infrastructure that enables that.
And so, you know, as we think about how much courage it took for the women to come forward and even talk about it, and you know this, whenever people are victims of violence, sexual violence, domestic violence, it is very difficult to come forward.
It takes a lot of courage to do that because what happens?
People blame the victim.
You have to prove your point.
And so this is another tragic chapter in U.S.
history.
And I believe that justice for the victims is incredibly important.
And also, too, though, I will say this, not minimizing their pain and suffering
We have a lot of issues on the table that we have to deal with as Americans, and this is one of them.
Right.
It has, because it has become so routine, Don, that it's just another thing.
