When he was asked today on Air Force One about it, he said it was a shame and it's a very sad thing that's happened to Prince Andrew.
I think that response is very telling.

I think I mentioned, I'm not sure if it was in the same response, but said that he has been exonerated based on what's come out in the files, which is absolutely not true.
But I think for the victims, this is a really big deal.
And as I said before, I hope it encourages them.
And I hope here in the United States, it encourages them even more so to not back down and know that we're with them because for us, we say it all the time in the oversight
democrats as part of our committee to us this investigation is just getting started because we're just at the beginning of these depositions we haven't gotten the full files yet we know there's a cover-up underway with the department of justice so not only do we need to keep pushing for the files but it's not just about getting the files it's about prosecuting and indicting and holding the people in the files accountable for the crimes that they committed or enabled
So we're right just at the beginning of the road of all of this.
And I think that the United States needs to learn from other countries and other examples and really take this seriously because young people in this country are watching.
If we don't get this right, then we're sending a very damning message to young people, young girls, boys, children in this country about justice and accountability and the rule of law.
