I got a call at work at my desk in Reading, at KRCR TV, and the phone at the desk... And the phone with the cord, and it's a hard line, and you're sitting at your desk.
I'm sitting there, and it would ring twice for any phone call outside the area code, any long-distance call.
So it would go, ring, ring, if it was outside the area code.
And it was really only when my parents are calling from New Jersey or my brother.
I mean, like no one was calling from outside the area code, a local sports reporter.
And it was ring ring.
And it was a an agent from William Morris calling and saying he's heard I'm one of the hottest up and coming sportscasters in America.
Can I send him a tape?
