A lot of handholding, a lot of tears throughout this whole process.
I managed to find an off-market property, but it was during that time of the market, it was just so competitive.
And even being off-market, this other agent that was selling it had also pitched it to a number of other buyer's agents.
So we ended up having quite a close negotiation to get it, but managed to close it out.
I'd negotiate it all hours of the night.
We literally worked 24-7 sometimes, Craig, and I had this fantastic prestige home, but there was another Chinese buyer that I was competing against, and we just kept going backward and forward with offers.
Ended up closing the deal at 12.30 a.m.
in the morning, and I said to the agent, I said, I need this contract signed tonight.
We went round to the vendor's house, got it signed, deal done.

A bit tired after last night.
I think you know the reason why, though.
Yeah, look, Craig, it was a great night.
It was incredible to be amongst such a calibre of other business owners.
You know, there's seven categories.
There's actually around, probably around about 150, 200 finalists in total.
But the category that I was shortlisted in as a finalist was called Progressing Australia, which is the top category.
And what they're looking for, the judges in that category is businesses that are showing strong leadership and solving a community problem that's quite pervasive throughout the economy and throughout the community.
