And for it to, you know, for my mum and dad being both from working class backgrounds, but being newly middle class and, you know, getting a car with a number plate, there's private reg and all that is...

You know, they were very, very, very proud that their son was on Blue Peter because it's a very middle-class show in its own right.

And so it was a big deal, you know, in their heads.

My mum was just walking around the supermarket telling people her son was on Blue Peter.
