So we're talking about seven years ago, nine years ago, I think.
Uh airline Wi Fi was a new thing coming out at the time.
Then that company itself was facing disruption, disruption from the Elon Musks, the Starlinks, et cetera, putting thousands of satellites in space instead of one giant satellite in space.
So they knew they had to adapt and change.
They had a Salesforce that had it for like 15, 20 years, one of the oldest orgs I'd seen, but they it hadn't really worked and it hadn't really improved it.
And where I was engaged there, the CIO brought me in to lead the digital transformation.
Um, I think uh IBM consulting had defined a vision, but with no real execution on that vision.
So we we came into there and we brought into three things.
One, we brought in an agile way of working, something they weren't used to.
uh I built a team around me as well with the skills that I wasn't as strong in as other people.
So I brought in a great business analyst, uh a great developer, um, a great QA person as well.
Uh and also a sort of a more admin person.
Uh I'm gonna say admin, I mean South Source admin, so configuration developer is what I think we'd call it.
And we worked, we brought the Center of Excellence together, we brought the different business units together, and the key people were the sales operations managers.
They were the ones really doing things.
They were the ones compiling a 300-page PowerPoint deck every month from the data in the system to present to the uh leadership team for them to discuss.
I'm thinking, I guarantee you, a leadership team does not want 300 slides a month.
Okay.
Every month.
And we managed to turn around how they were using the system.
