Well, you could argue that some of the places in Ireland are remnants, certainly remnants of rainforests, and there is a man who has rebuilt one down in the Beira Peninsula.
I I do, but I don't even know where to start.
I once visited a place called the Great Dismal Swamp in Maryland.
Now the Great Dismal Swamp is um a very sophisticated kind of rainforest.
It's a swamp with huge trees.
Now uh it strikes me that you moved in there um and the trees must have been growing for decades.
A is it becoming like the Great Dismal Swamp?
the trees blotting out the light from the ground level and so forth.
Or is that the the way it's going to go?
Or is that going to be the terminus of this?
And you leave all these fallen trees there, I hope, and not take them away and chop them up and burn them during the winter or anything like that, do you?
Do you feel you're living in a battlefield?
You're there with all these plants, all these trees and bushes and things striving for success and they're competing with each other and they give way to each other in time and there is no end in sight.
It's a constant flux.
Everything is processed, everything is on the way to something else.
It's dynamic and there is no final state.
Is that how you see?

It's a great experiment and it's essentially an experiment of what happens if you keep the browsers out, the goats and the deer and so on.
And that is the essential element I presume you're a sneaking regarder of bringing back wolves because if we did this on a larger scale in Ireland, the only way it would succeed is if we had something to keep the number of goats and deer down.
