So they have no knowledge of where they came from.

Are they going to be able to find their way back to a suitable place in which to nest?

Are they going to have any orientation towards a particular location?

Well, it's most mysterious, I must say.

Now, the fact that this is baldness on the head is interesting because when robins molt, and that is to say they change, they grow a new set of feathers every year.

They do so when their breeding is over, usually.

But these are not set in stone.

Now, the sequence starts with the flight feathers and then it goes on to the body feathers.
