And actually, there was a peak that really went from the late 60s up until the early 80s, but really all of the 1970s.
And not only that.
So there's a quantity that was really quite shocking to me.
But also...
behavioral changes so one thing that happened really started at the end of the 60s but by the 70s it was in full swing and that was a shift of the phenomenon toward predominantly nighttime operations so prior to uh the late 60s uh of all the cases that i collected
it was almost exactly 50% were in the daytime and 50% were at nighttime.
After that, during the 70s, it was 75% were at night.
And that goes to almost 90% if you look at military encounters.
Military encounters were nearly 90% at night after the late 60s, which is astonishing.
So I look at that and I think, okay, is my data sample large enough?
Well, I can't really know for sure.
It's large enough that I thought,
700 cases is not completely trivial.
And yet this pattern emerged.
And I'm thinking, why did that emerge?
Why did this go tonight?
I really wonder if that's the case with aerial cases as well.
And I may want to go back and try to review that.
There's so many more aerial cases to look into.
But nevertheless, I think that something shifted by the early 70s to...
