They don't like to read a 1949 US Army report that talks about this.
The unfortunate part of all of this is that when you go through those documents, if someone has the patience
go through those documents you find a tremendous amount a powerful argument to to be made for the fact that the us government's take taken flying saucers and ufos seriously like it's right in there and so that's quite significant it's quite significant to to to see that now that's something that i in my work have been focused on for more than 30 years i've tried uh to make the case in really most of my books that
whatever you think about the reality of UFOs or UAP, it is a fact that the United States government and military and national security community have been deeply, deeply interested in this all the while they've been saying that there's nothing to it and that there's a discrepancy there.
And to me, that's the core argument that I have tried to make in my entire career.
There's a lot more that could be said.
And I think that the release of these files
completely completely 100 supports that position and that's not a trivial point to make it doesn't answer the question what are we dealing with who are these people these beings uh what does the government us or other actually know those questions are not being answered and it's true people want the answers to it um and that that's just not likely to happen you know i think we we have this
it's because we're talking we talk about disclosure so often in our community we make this assumption that well the government's just going to have to disclose what they know and uh we don't live in that world we don't live in a genuinely we like to think we live in some kind of quasi-democratic society but you know we don't live in that we live in a technocracy
that goes through the motions and the whole game of pretend, like let's pretend we have a democracy.
Let's pretend we're actually electing these people when we know the whole thing is stage managed from behind.
And it's been that way for a long, long time.
So we have a highly managed pseudo democratic system, you could say, and that's not gonna be responsive
to disclosure.
I mean, if we lived in an openly fascist or an openly totalitarian communist society, would we expect government disclosure then?
Probably we would not, but we expect it here.
When in fact, what we have, whether you're in the UK, I'm in the US, really doesn't matter, man.
We both have, we both live in a highly tightly controlled system, each of us.
And
I'm sure the people watching wherever they are, they're like, yep, that's my society too.
