Well, we have to keep people safe, blah, blah, blah.
But I think they foresee β
the kind of economic dislocation that is currently happening around the world where structural unemployment will probably increase.
I know people say, oh, well, it's gonna create new jobs too.
Yeah, but it's gonna, it's shedding a lot of jobs.
So I think that's one thing that they have foreseen and probably adds to their kind of totalitarian direction.
I do think that the AI revolution
is um something that a non-human intelligence would be interested in mapping and and seeing i have no doubt they use their own version of ai i have no doubt i i've i've i was speculating about this 25 years ago about aliens and ai um and i think just of course they would because really all that all that artificial intelligence really is when you think about it is uh
It's a more systematic and rationalized way of processing information than what we've used previously.
It's not infallible, obviously, but it's very efficient in many ways.
And for that reason, people use it.
And when you realize that you live in an informational universe, which is what I think we live in,
That's really what we're driven.
We cannot help ourselves.
We cannot help ourselves that we are constantly driving toward greater, greater levels of complexity and rationalization because that gives us power as a society.
Corporations are gonna compete with each other.
They're gonna use every tool at their disposal.
Nations and militaries compete with each other.
