Yeah, but it's gonna, it's shedding a lot of jobs.
So I think that's one thing that they have foreseen and probably adds to their kind of totalitarian direction.
I do think that the AI revolution
is um something that a non-human intelligence would be interested in mapping and and seeing i have no doubt they use their own version of ai i have no doubt i i've i've i was speculating about this 25 years ago about aliens and ai um and i think just of course they would because really all that all that artificial intelligence really is when you think about it is uh
It's a more systematic and rationalized way of processing information than what we've used previously.
It's not infallible, obviously, but it's very efficient in many ways.
And for that reason, people use it.
And when you realize that you live in an informational universe, which is what I think we live in,
That's really what we're driven.
We cannot help ourselves.
We cannot help ourselves that we are constantly driving toward greater, greater levels of complexity and rationalization because that gives us power as a society.
Corporations are gonna compete with each other.
They're gonna use every tool at their disposal.
Nations and militaries compete with each other.
They will use every tool at their disposal.
So it's an unending kind of a cycle
of of technological improvements that um have now reached a kind of threshold where we've had this artificial intelligence which is another order of magnitude beyond where we've been so i think uh i have very little doubt that in non-human intelligence that's observing us they are very aware of uh of where we are at and i i think they have to find that interesting they have to be thinking
much longer can we operate in relative secrecy and security from all these from these nosy humans more and more humans are talking about us you know they could probably gather that and um they might be thinking you know what do we do what is our policy here that might be an interesting i would love to be a fly on the wall of an alien conversation about that what do we do with these humans
