So, and I mean, I look around and I see a society that doesn't read anymore, where more than half the population's on some kind of medication.
antidepressants like that's a sign of like massive upness of your entire civilization there's something wrong when like half or more than half of the people are on some kind of ssri or some kind of medication i don't really know what the number is but it's a lot it's just symptomatic that we're doing something deeply deeply disturbingly unhealthy to ourselves that even prompts all the mental illness treatments that are out there
Like there's obviously something wrong with what we're doing to ourselves as a civilization that's causing this.
You go to look at nations like South Korea, they're not making babies.
They're like headed towards extinction.
Much of Europe, much of the Western world is not making babies.
Why not?
It's a sign, I think, of something, I'm going to say literally unnatural or anti-natural that's causing us to react in ways that are,
deeply dysfunctional to social health.
And everyone lives alone in front of their little screen nowadays.
People don't know how to talk to each other, have eye to eye communication.
I mean, there's obviously so many things that are wrong and it just makes me wonder,
So we think disclosure is gonna help.
It's gonna make us better.
Disclosure is gonna make us more mature.
I used to think that disclosure would prompt a lot of people, at least I had a hope that it would prompt a lot of us to look at our lives and think, have I been wasting my life?
You know, cause here's an example of an intelligence that operates on a different level than us.
That would give us the idea that there may be possible ways of living our lives according to different principles and maybe deeper or maybe more meaningful.
I used to think, I used to try to convince myself of that.
I don't think I believe that anymore.
