And the Red Sea runs from the Suez Canal through the Red Sea to the Bab al-Mandab.

And that is another vital waterway.

So about 20% of the world's oil and gas goes through Hormuz.

But about 12% of all global trade goes through the Red Sea.

And this is something that the Houthis have long threatened to do because the Houthis are aligned with Iran.

They are backed by Iran.

In some cases, they're armed by Iran, but they also have a great capacity to make their own weapons.

So a couple of days ago, the Houthis attacked these two Saudi vessels.

In the Red Sea.

And that caused an enormous amount of panic in the markets.

We saw the Dow drop about 500 points.

International oil went over $100 a barrel.

A big economic shock because people were worried about this exact scenario.

Are both of these strategic waterways now going to be shut off because of this Iran war?

They were flexing their muscles, showing solidarity with Iran, projecting power for Iran.

But they also have a personal beef with Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia fought a war against the Houthis in Yemen.

So there is bad history there.

There's bad blood.

And then there was a specific incident just a few days ago, a few days before they attacked these two Saudi ships.
