It's not that we become narcissists.
a narcissist or we develop MPD, but you do end up with a narcissistic worldview because you're trapped in that fantasy.
And the fantasy, let's keep it to the UK because that's where we are and that's what we know the best, is there's no meaning to anything
Everything is incidental.
There's no faith.
There's no God.
There's no big dream.
There's no big picture that we're moving towards.
There's only consumerism.
All you have is your body.
You're born, you live, and then you'll die.
So consume as much, have as much pleasure as you can.
self-gratify as much as you can, worship yourself as much as you can before you pop your clogs.
And that's it.
I think once we started from those ideological coordinates and we took, nobody knew this consciously.
Nobody was doing it consciously.
They were just like, well, this feels like shit.
This feels like shit, but this feels good.
So I'll do this.
I'm not like casting judgment on anybody.
