They were they were causing some some action.

And uh he's not a part of that.

He's a good defender, a great defender, and we've seen that.

They need him in the lineup.

I'm not saying to bench him.

But I also believe that he's been uh hurt

a little bit, maybe wrist and uh that saps him of his power and and I forgive him for that for one year.

I mean when somebody has a great year you don't say

Oh, this is the way it's gonna be for the rest of his career.

So when someone has a down year you don't think the opposite.

I think that's the one that's

That's the one that stands out, the twenty thirteen season, when Vegas all of a sudden jumped on board and over the winter picked the Jays to win to go to the World Series out of the American League and and th that didn't happen.

That didn't come close to happen.

There were so many disappointments and you know, to say RA Dicky was a disappointment, now you look back and a guy who pitches two hundred innings every year.

and wins ten, twelve, thirteen games and we're considering them a huge disappointment.

But there were so many that year.

That's that's the big season that I can compare.

Right, but Hayes, we've talked about this before, is that this season is different because of the way they've built that pleasure palace at Roger Center.

And and they can't afford two years down the road to bounce back.
