And that doesn't even count the times they get up to warm up and don't come into games.

So you know, they've been getting by, they've been using the same guys, the same

small circle of trust that they have out there.

I mean, you look at the fact that that the forty man roster is composed of a lot of pitching rejects from other organizations and you go, Well, who would you trust on the stretch?

They've got

They got Corbin on the I L, they got Michael Lorenzen who just waltzed in uh the other night to the clubhouse, shook hands with some guys and then went out and pitched a couple innings.

Uh Joe Mantiply who's on the IL.

Um, you've got just a bunch of guys, Ty Jameson Tyone.

Um and they just

It doesn't seem like in fact I think it would be better for them to finish five hundred, just miss the playoffs.

rather than make the playoffs at five hundred and get trashed in the first round.

I think that the fans would be look ahead.

It's like

Key gonna remember that year where they where they were edged out of the playoffs even after their season had finished, they were watching on the big screen and and they missed.

I think that was better than going to the playoffs and getting crushed.

I think at the trade deadline on August third they had that in mind because all of the major changes that they made came on the pitching end and and they wanted to be ready

or the off season, heading into the off season with with a short time to sort of rebuild because December first and the and the work stoppage that is likely and who knows when that will be over.

I have confidence that next season will start sometime in early April if uh if not on time.
