If you've only got a month to build, you would rather spend that month, as you point out, building your offense rather than working on your pitching and your offense.
And the pitching the rotation is in place if they have um players coming back from injuries like Cody Ponce and and uh Trey Yesavage and and they're gonna be losing Shane Bieber a and Max Scherzer.
But they have enough to set up a solid rotation heading into the season.
So that leaves them with the ability to focus just
on the hitting side and part of that is knowing um by the end of the season and into November
whether guys like Addison Barger can be counted on next spring or whether they have to to reach down and find somebody with a little pop in their bat to replace a guy like that.
