And a final question to you, Sarah.
Uh you said earlier what you always say to companies, you know, your job is to listen to and advise and support your member companies, but taking this particular piece of research and what you found, what would you say to your companies that you recommend them to do?
In this podcast we've heard that companies like to compare themselves with their peers.
uh, but that the implementation in um in German business is sometimes more form than function.
Uh, we found that some of the shortfalls are companies failing to test the effectiveness of their human rights due diligence management systems, and that there is an avoidance of issues consciously or subconsciously uh in many of the companies that report.
The recommendation from the from the UN Global Compact is that companies should validate any findings they make through desktop research, through actual consultation with and engagement with rights holders.
And it doesn't have to be too hard.
As Sarah said, it's building on the relationships that you already have.

As well as sticks in terms of companies providing real financial support and incentives to their suppliers in the report.
And Sarah talked about the importance of building trust to enable remedy and redress test systems to always operate.
