actually required in its regulation internal regulations that the keys for the cockpit door be kept in an unlockable cabinet right next to the cockpit door.
So the stewardess could just this cabinet grab the keys and and get into the cockpit.
to uh to deliver coffee or whatever you um one thing most people may not understand at this time period, right?

The flight attendants would be going in and out of the cockpit pretty routinely.
Um
not just bringing meals and coffee, but depending on the rules set by the captain
Uh in this time period you uh pilots could smoke in a cockpit.
And so
one or more of the flight attendants might pop into the fog uh cockpit on a long flight to catch a smoke.
