he sort of understands that also he's a content creator that his company makes content and they can do that for bbc one or itv or channel four but they can be doing it by themselves and the one thing you learn very very early on as a producer is the different returns you get from different channels which channels will keep your rights like netflix will keep your rights voice-verified

And that really affects your back end and what you're making next year and in three years and in five years. voice-verified

And the thing about YouTube for almost all production companies, if you can get a decent brand on board as well, is the back end position can be incredible. voice-verified

You know, it gives you a creative freedom because no one's telling you what to do. voice-verified

Because I'll tell you now, a brand will tell you less what to do than a channel will. voice-verified

will do and you get to keep that ip and you get to exploit it and there's all there was all sorts of paid content in there and there's all sorts of brands yeah there was a lot yeah and you kind of think well i mean listen i i guess that's okay i mean not on that platform you can't be fussing about that i mean that is the platform yeah i think exactly that and you can you know you can earn there's all sorts of commercial opportunities you can get off the back of it which you can't you could which you either have to share with the channel or on the bbc you can't have voice-verified
