I'm like, like, guys, is this, you're just going to be mean?
Really unnecessarily mean and brutal?
And they're like, yeah, that's part of the point of it.
And you know what?
I'm out.

Don't need that.
I've had enough.
I don't need artificially inflicted pain.
Thank you very much.
But they're like, well, that's part of the point.
I'm like, yeah, okay, I'm out.
And then they had this very earnest conversation about why I was leaving.
I said, I'm leaving because you guys are just a bunch of bullying each other.
And there are good versions of things like that.
There are good versions of men being in community with each other.
There are good versions even of sort of rites of passage done in a good way and elevating each other and finding ways to progress through and help each other and mentor each other and maybe older men helping kind of younger men.
And there are good...
Non-weird, non-bullying, non-creepy versions of those.
And so let's not just categorize everything like that.
