And that's exactly where we are with NVIDIA.
Well, I think, you know, that touches on whether there will be antitrust questions here.
To have a very large player that dominates one part of the AI world try to take over what is essentially a utility across the entire industry is going to raise some concerns.
And there are echoes here of a few years ago when NVIDIA tried to buy ARM, the chip design company, and that caused
A real storm in the chip industry.
Antitrust regulators ended up blocking that.
But I think this time around, it shouldn't be a problem from a regulatory point of view.
This is a vertical deal.
It's NVIDIA moving into a different part of the AI system.
So I think from a regulatory point of view it should slip through, but uh that doesn't mean it's not going to face some really tough questions.

I think the question from NVIDIA is how it uses its current very strong position to build a broader footprint across the AI world in the future.
Because NVIDIA knows eventually its chip position is going to erode.
It needs to be a broader.

So the question, as always, with a successful tech company at the moment, is how do they translate their current tech dominance, their current amazing cash flow into a good, strong, competitive position in the next iteration of the industry.
And that's what we're seeing NVIDIA try to do.
