Because they'd been knocked out, right?
They bought them in advance, ready for Argentina to be there.
Now they weren't there.
So they were like, okay, let's pitch up where all the England fans are going to be turning up.
I mean, they allowed me by overcharging me by a mile on the ticket.
So I guess, yeah, I guess hand of God.
And now, you know, me paying their mortgage for three years.
It's kind of worked out.
But yeah, just handed them over a wad of cash.
I emptied out my bag, literally.
That was very irresponsible of me.
And then I had a ticket in my hand all of a sudden.
And I remember sending a picture to my dad and my brother.
I had the ticket in my mouth.
I was like, I've just landed and got a ticket.
I was like, is that how easy it is to attend a World Cup semifinal?
I just couldn't believe it.
