Hello.

I have a running friend that is in much better shape than me, and she is a big motivation.

Her 5K PB is 29 minutes, mine is 39.

This Sunday, we went for a 5K run together, and it was supposed to be at conversation pace.

At the end of the run, I was dead and got a 5K PB, whereas she...

could have done another lap.

Imagine my surprise when we compared stats and her heart rate was so similar.

The expectation is that her heart rate would be lower, but no.

So my question is, how can she figure out what her actual heart rate zones are?

She obviously has very different zones to what one would consider normal.

So hopefully that's helpful.

I noticed for people who don't like wearing their watches overnight, like me, that Andy has a bit of kit that he just ties around his arm when he takes his watch off.
