So the country's in lockdown for another three weeks.
I can't imagine anybody thinks three weeks time we're actually going to come out of it because what happens then?
You know, and until we have a vaccine.
um i can't see there's any solution to this um that's going to be a long way off and in other countries we're seeing announcements about or speculation about not playing in front of crowds until 2021 you know as i said there isn't an awful lot of good news or encouragement coming out at the moment but we just have to stay as calm as we can in what is an increasingly difficult situation and uh face up to the challenges as and when we have to
I think it's possible, Gary.
I don't think that would be easy given that we haven't managed it in the last 100 years.
I think there is very constructive dialogue across the FA, the Premier League and the EFL.
And of course, with the PFA too, I mean, I think what's really interesting about this situation is we're not on different sides of the table.
You know, we sit down with our broadcast partners, Sky, they've got challenges.
Our sponsors have got challenges.
We've all got challenges.
It's a really unusual situation because we're actually all on the same side of the table.
And it's a case of recognizing we've all got problems.
We're all part of the problem.
So we all need to try and be part of the solution.
That goes for players and the PFA as well.
It's a case of, and as you know, Gary, we're meeting groups of players today to basically be totally open, totally transparent, unveiling the problem to them and saying,
Here are the facts.
This is the size of the problem.
Now, how can we all be part of the solution going forward?
