Defense as a you know, in terms of a situational thing with injuries.

His second game in the Cheryl Hockey League, he played defense against Windsor facing Shane Wright.

Uh, and all of a sudden he's at center and then never played center for his life and then all of a sudden he's killing penalties is a five on three uh you know, defensive zone starts.

Uh all things that were sort of selkie like if I want to put it that way.

Uh takeaways, penalties drawn, strong stick, uh is you could measure how many times he touched the puck per shift, how many times did he create an event.

So it was all details, details, details, and then uh we think he has underrated offense.

We think he's a sort of a funky skater or a different looking skater, but there's not an issue there.

Uh maybe some improvement needed, but that's to me where the opportunity was.

Uh a little bit of the unknown uh in terms of uh his trajectory and then you know maybe some skating optics.

uh industry wise, created opportunity and we just believe in the player, believe in his makeup and we're excited to have a chance to get 'em.

Uh like internal dialogue uh what

Uh certainly uh his offensive potential.

Uh makes plays uh has a scoring knack, uh can make others around him better, uh strong on pucks, uh good offensive instincts, uh is in zone play, whether it's extending things and rolling off the cycles or creating off the rush.

So we think his offensive package is and he's a competitive player.

So sense, skill and compete are things that we value.

And he certainly possesses those.
