We went out of our way to with those four uh late round picks.

Uh we were looking for those jagged resumes.

Some players that had something to prove, some players that we bypassed, some players that uh we like their trajectory, we like the the ripple effect of their development events and but he was he was a part of that.

Uh he's has a lot of self belief and

Well, I think he's gonna earn a contract.

Yeah, I mean, you know, twenty points, uh eleven minutes a night and it doesn't necessarily translate into a national hockey league draft pick, but we think he's undervalued.

Uh we looked he was a third round pick uh coming out of midget.

Uh he was one rookie of the year in the junior B League.

Got off to a bit of a slow start, uh he had a shoulder issue early in London, which put him behind some guys.

They had a terrific team.

Uh but it's

second half as strong as his first half.

He got in every playoff game.

Uh you know, nineteen of the uh twenty points were even strength with a shorthanded assist.

Uh we believe in his offense he was another guy from a sort of an attribute breakdown or a we like his skill, we like his sense, we like his skating and we think he's basically an underrated player.

So different from a standpoint uh

You know, the chip on his shoulder is a little bit more just waiting for opportunity.
