There is a fraction of Republicans who support Trump because they're genetic Republicans.
They don't want to leave the party.
They don't love Trump.
They don't love what he does.
But they're Republicans, and they've been conditioned for generations that it's communism or Trump.
It's the world burns or Trump.
And I think what you see with those people right now, a lot of those people still believe in the old sort of order.
They don't think about Putin as a good guy.
They don't think that we could just make a deal with anybody.
They look at what Trump did in Venezuela and go, why did we do that?
We left the same bad guys in charge.
Now he's talking about leaving the same bad guys in charge in Cuba.
He's talking about leaving the same bad guys in charge in Iran.
They don't love the, you know, let me build a Trump tower and give me a cut of your oil revenue model of diplomacy.
And I think that there's a, that was in really big stark display with Ukraine for the last several years, where a lot of Republicans, you know, look, Josh Bolton, or John Bolton, excuse me, not Josh, different people, John Bolton, you know, a guy who Trump fired, who was in Trump's first administration, is an Iran hawk.
And yet he's out saying, there's a lot of things that this doesn't look like it was put together like a real plan.
What are we doing here?
Did we not anticipate all these things that would be happening?
And I think when you do that, and when you're a foreign policy hawk or an Iran hawk, and you were able to say, you're not doing this the right way.
You're putting us in danger.
