We went, sat together, watched the play, and he kept mentioning how special I was that he had chosen me to partake in this life-changing event.

I also think there's a through line of not having super present parents.
I think he definitely used those events to target people that he thought he could victimize.
I think we chatted for a minute after the show and he may have introduced me to another professor there who is fantastic.
