I like it.
I'm not mad at that.
That was Asia Evans and Sahar Taylor.
Okay, so just to recap the big points, every state has its own rules for how assets are divided in a divorce.
So if you don't like those rules, then it might make sense to get a prenup.
Prenups can cover things like spousal support, debt, real estate, even who gets custody over pets.
And, you know, negotiating all of that might not sound like the most romantic thing, but being able to talk openly about money with your future spouse, it's a pretty solid investment in your relationship.
Like Asia said, it's not you versus your partner.
It's the two of you versus the worst-case scenario.
All right.
That is all for our episode this week.
We're working on another episode coming out soon, by the way, about the casinofication of our lives, like how you can pretty much gamble on anything these days, not just sports, but the Oscars, elections, celebrity breakups, even Supreme Court rulings.
I'd love to know if that's something you've experienced or maybe you've watched someone close to you get into the prediction markets.
If so, how has that impacted you?

I'm Rima Grace, and welcome to This is Uncomfortable, a show about life and how money messes with it.
This week, we're answering your questions about money and dating.
And don't worry, we're not going to do the whole who pays on the first date kind of questions.
