You know, doing your emails, whatever it is, the more new fun places you can find, the better.
I've never been brave enough to do this.
but I know some people will even go to hotel lobbies.
You could get a drink.
A lot of hotels serve, you know, Coke, whatever.
I don't drink Coke, but lemonade, I don't know.
You can get yourself a drink and just sit at a fancy hotel and work.
Wouldn't that be nice?
So we should put that all on our to-do list to look around and find places
where we could work, where we could just enjoy and get things done and it doesn't even cost anything.
And now I wanna share with you another tip that I have for getting into hyper-focus.
So we've talked about ways to do it, but here's what I want you to think about.
I want you to think about when you're about to get into hyper focus, because you're doing it intentionally, right?
So you're sitting, maybe you're in that hotel we just talked about, and you wanna work on your project.
So here's what I wanna advise you.
Please, please, please protect your on-ramp at all costs.
So what I mean by your on-ramp is your first five to 10 minutes of starting a task are the most critical.
So what happens is, is that if you're about to start a task, let's say you're not at the hotel, let's say you're home and you go to wherever you go to work and all of a sudden the phone rings or your kids come pouring in and they want you to take them to the pool.
Your task is not gonna happen.
You're never gonna get that opportunity to actually get into hyper-focus.
