When Chris finds the wet hat in his car, he's not impressed.

That to me seemed like a bit of a strange thing to do if my friend went missing, to throw the hat out.
But as the hours drag on and there's still no sign of Jack, Chris's frustration turns to worry.
He's already at a low point and he knows the come down would topple him over completely.
So he takes some more meth to keep the high going.
Over the next few days, he says he returns to Fixed Crossing over and over again to try and find Jack.
One time he's out there, he arrives to find police searching the area around Fix.
