If a guy's throwing at us, he shouldn't have thrown at us.

And I think the players appreciate the stuff like that.

I just think, and with the media, he's been nails with the media and that's not an easy thing to do here.

Across the board, he's just sort of been this calming influence why everybody has figured this out.

And a big part of figuring that out was letting not only the coaches, but everybody in that clubhouse figure out how to actually win baseball games, especially at Fenway.

That's a good question.

I think that the two guys who spoke after they lost, after the end of the win streak, Sonny Gray and Wilson Contreras, would probably be along those lines, and they're veteran guys.

But, you know, even Wilson Contreras was asked, oh, what about Chad Tracy?

He's like, yeah, he's a good guy.

Like, oh, man, he's a tactician, you know?

No, he's a good guy.

But I think that they understand, like, what's important, and I think they understand that Chad understands

What's important.

So that goes a long way.

Again, we saw, and this is within extreme, but the Bobby Valentine year in 2012, where you tried to do a 180 from Terry Francona and tried to enact your will on every single thing.

That's not what Chad Tracy did.

And I think guys in that clubhouse appreciated that.

While you did have just enough veteran leadership to sort of ride the ship.

I laughed because I was standing at this exact spot.
