The storm system is going to produce snow and ice as we head through the weekend across more than 30 states.

Looking at numerous states under winter storm watches currently, they'll be converted to winter storm warnings by tomorrow.

Looks like the storm is going to track across portions of the upper Gulf Coast and the lower Tennessee River Valley and then redevelop off the coast of mid-Atlantic states by Sunday night.

That'll continue to bring snow to portions of the northeast Sunday and Monday.
