The more preparation you can do on either the organisation, the business, whoever it might be in that sort of space, that you can do, the better.
I know this will not paint me in a fantastic light.
So I was working at a prior organisation where I was applying for another job because my role was finishing up.
So I knew there was something coming up.
um one of the mates that i had at that business and said hey i'll write your application for you i'm like yeah no worries like you know was fairly high up in that organization i'm like right away like no problems at all got an interview based on the written application went into the actual uh the face-to-face interview and butchered it to the point where i couldn't even remember what the acronym of where i was applying for stood for like it was
Diabolically bad.
And the guy that interviewed me was like, hey, thanks, end of the interview.
We'll wind up there.
I'm like, yep, no worries.
He's like, hey, can you just hang back for like two minutes?
I'm like, oh, okay, yeah, no worries.
Maybe he's going to offer me the job.
I'm like, no, that can't be it.
That definitely wasn't the case.
He's like, did you write this?
I'm like, look, I didn't.
I'm like, the information is correct, but I didn't write this.
