I mean, I think that like we tried to lean into it enough that it was resonant and that it worked.
And I think it had real value.
Right.
I think like those accounts and that voice like built Project 2025 up like it could do stuff that Kamala Harris couldn't do authentically and all of that.
But like, yeah, there's, I think a legitimate argument and criticism to be made.
And I don't know how much I agree with it that like, if that's what the, if that, if that infilled the brand, um, and felt like it was for an in group and not an out group, um, then it could have been damaging.
I don't, I, you know, I don't, I don't know.
I don't think I subscribe to that, but I think, you know, it is a criticism that I think is, is worth merit and discussion.
I think the concern inside the campaign, and again, I was not in these conversations, so this is just, you know, whatever, but like especially cause like the, the, the running mate team tends to operate at least in democratic world as like kind of a satellite, you know?
But I think that my understanding was there was a sense that like what worked for him was like nice guy, Tim walls and sort of the like name calling gratuitous stuff and
sort of felt like it was, well, it just felt like it was gratuitous and over the top and people wouldn't take him seriously in the same way.
I will admit I was a fan of weird.
It was like one of the reasons I was team walls.
Yeah.
And what I thought was interesting about walls is he came in with a lot of interesting novel arguments.
I think in his speech, uh,
went on the day he gets announced.
He either, I think he might've made a couch joke.
Uh, he did.
