Yeah, I think that it kind of comes down to like the difference.
Like this is this this fight plays out in a lot of different places in Dem world of traditional communicators and digital communicators and digital communicators who are like, say the resonant thing.
And traditional communicators who are like, say the thing that is like most like persuasive and whatever.
I think that that was like a case where like the Internet people were like, this is gold.
And the sort of more traditional folks were like, this is off putting.
And I think both had some merit.
You know, I think my macro lesson for like how Democrats construct messaging is like we tend to actually often explicitly say if it is.
resonant on the internet it is not a good thing to be saying um because it is anti-persuasive um that is that is a literal line of thinking that like people will say and exist so they but they know like what's happened in america for the last like decade right like they know a hundred percent
There's viralism versus persuasionism or whatever.
Again, I'm going to do a good faith.
I'm still a fan of their argument.
The argument would be that...
Things that generate the most heat on the Internet have the most like partisan support.
And because people are going to like it, they're going to engage with it.
They're going to share it.
That therefore makes it whatever.
If it's going viral, it anti correlates with what is actually going to change voters because those voters tend to want kind of moderate things.
And so it's not a wholly untrue thing that, you know.
Totally.
The core difference between how Democrats set up our system and how Republicans set up their system is Democrats tend to go, we have tested this.
