That was a big part of why we went for Will Jacks.
So I do feel that at times it's slightly unfair to think that we haven't.
A lot of the time we're actually, you know, it might be lots of people that I speak to to try and work out what the best way is to go from lots of different things.
We've got a performance director now from other sports so they can just, you know, I think that cricket doesn't do well with people from outside of the game because it's like you're only as good or only as bright as something depending on how good you were at 26.
So we've got a number of different people that are coming in trying to give us a view or helping out, trying to see the world differently to what I do.
So I don't agree with that.
We've just got to get better at adapting.

They might not have had Cummings, Stark, Hazelwood, people like that.
Or even before that, when the pressure was on against India as well.
When we started, the results that we had, we were playing far outside, far above our potential.
We were chasing 350.
Johnny Bairstow played, it was in the form of his life before he did his anchor.
And we went on a run that probably after a really tough time of it was right up there.
But it was above actually.
You're not going to win games all the time if you're chasing 350.
So it gave a bit of a false read on where we were.

And then gradually as we've gone, we're now a side without that experience.
We've got real potential with the bowling, the batting.
