but it's not without its dedication, hard work, perseverance, and being a selfless teammate.
And I can say that over and over, and some kids actually get it.
Other kids don't.
I mean, we had to sacrifice a lot.
And again, I'm not, this is no complaint.
We sacrificed a lot, but we gained so much more from that.
To be a teammate, the most important thing about that team, I think, we were all decent players.
We were all reasonably skilled and we could skate and things like that.
But during the Olympics, nobody cared who scored.
You know, Mark Johnson scored.
He didn't score, but we scored.
Rizzo scored the big goal.
We scored the goal.
I mean, I scored the winner against Finland.
No, we scored the winner against Finland.
And you hear all of us say that.
And that's the one thing I learned from that team.
And truly, nobody cared.
