I felt like that.

And we sometimes do it to our husbands, our wives, our partners, our kids.
We try to make them like us.
Well, I think there are several, but one of them would be to grasp the moment.

When my daughter was about four years old, I was busy in the law practice.
In my own small way, more success than I ever dreamt was possible.
And I'd be reading a story and the phone would ring downstairs.
We only had a phone downstairs then.
She said, Daddy, please don't take it.
I'll be back in a moment.
And I'd make that call, then another call.
And after half an hour, I'd remember I'd not finished the story and I'd go back into the room and the light would be on and the book would be by her head where I'd left it.
But little eyes had fought to stay awake as long as they possibly could.
And I've had the privilege of speaking to many business people across the world, and I say this to them.
