I used to say to myself, and I think this kept me in that lifestyle longer than it should have, a slower day is coming.

But of course it's not.
It's not coming.
We think when the next office is opened and when the computers are working and when I've taken over that next business, I'll have more time.
But it is a total illusion.
If anything matters to us, we need to grasp a bit of it today.
But I'll tell you what I would say, John.
For the person listening who's 55 years old or 60 and their kids are grown and they think I've lost it, it's almost never too late to make that phone call to try again.
You know, I was privileged to be in the White House just after the 9-11 tragedy.
And when they analyzed the phone calls made on 9-11, when they listened to those recorded messages that people hurriedly said, sometimes before they jumped and missed the flames, when they reread emails hurriedly sent or asked people to recount what people had said from the other doomed planes, the same three words came up time and time again.
Nobody talked about share prices.
Nobody talked about size of car driven or companies taken over.
Husbands said them to wives, partners to partners, parents to kids, kids to parents, I love you.
Jack, I know we haven't gotten along well recently, but I want you to know I love you.
And they're powerful words.
It's in many, many ways.
It is too late, and it's not too late.
I think it has lots of elements.
If you ask me, I've had the incredible privilege of being able to use the gifts that I think God has given me.
