So to start us off really, Bridget, obviously Lilliput Libraries is a really cool phenomenon.

What is a Lilliput Library?

Can you explain to us kind of the theory behind it as well?

Excellent.

And obviously here in Dunedin, the Lilliput Libraries has a really strong movement.

I'm actually a Lilliput Library guardian myself.

And I remember renting and chafing at the bit to become a guardian because I wanted to make sure that I had the roots down before I became a guardian.

And I think I was pretty lucky in that I had the lovely Tyree Bloke's shed make my Lilliput Library for me.

Carpentry skills are great.

beyond me, I think.

And then my children and I painted the library together.

And, oh, I can't believe how excited I was when I finally got it up and what have you.

And the library is actually out at Waikoaiti.

And so there's a lot of people who are there for UBMBs and walking down the pathway.

And honestly, I've never had a single day where nobody's ever been to that Lilliput library.

They're really quite an amazing phenomenon, aren't they?

I found whenever I was spotted putting new books in the library, a call would go out on social media saying that there's more books out there.

And some of the books that I'm getting are from the transfer station at One Coast.

So they've been in circulation in the community already.

It doesn't seem to stop anybody.
