Well, there is a sense of bemusement, if not befuddlement, over the way the president of the United States has behaved in the last little while.
I spent almost eight years in Washington.
And I remember that Canada was considered the kindly old uncle who was living upstairs.
And we barely, barely made the news in the United States.

And yet, we see in the last week, we see not just the President of the United States and his social media volleys, but we see the Vice President, we see the Secretary of the Treasury, we see Secretary of Commerce, we see USTR, others coming out after Canada.
