So I think you're taking a flyer on this guy.
He's going to get more opportunity with the Canucks than he did with the Devils, and we'll see how it pans out.
I was feeling really smart, you guys, because I wrote the first –
Brendan Gallagher, Vancouver Canucks connected piece, I believe in the market, I think it was obvious down the stretch with the Habs that he was, when he was not appearing in playoff games, that he was not gonna be sticking around there for another year.
And it just made so much sense for Vancouver.
And then when we heard him speak after the season,
talking openly about how he would welcome a trade to Vancouver.
I mean, it just seemed like a slam dunk for everyone involved.
The only question was, were the Canucks going to get an asset?
I know that there were suggestions that maybe they'd have to
give up an asset and and it falls in the middle right they get them for free I think it's a I think it's a great move I think that Gallagher you speak to the the people all the media in Montreal I think Gallagher obviously feels like he has more to give the media in Montreal feel like
He could have a bounce-back season.
So I think that makes a ton of sense for the Canucks.
You bring in Gallagher, be a mentor.
He's kind of like an Alex Burrows type.
I know he wasn't undrafted or anything like that, but in terms of work ethic and being a great example to his teammates...
Gallagher makes so, so much sense for the Canucks.
You hear Slavkovski and Suzuki and all these guys speak.
