Anyway, this is news that Dame Angela Eagle has got the top job, so she's overseeing things at the Department for Environment.

But actually, I wanted to talk more so about Emma Hardy, who has inherited Mary Cray's job, and she's the Minister for Circular Economy and Waste Crime.

So definitely going to be someone that we're interested in talking to at some point because things like

fly tips, littering, etc., all falls under that waste crime.

She's been a junior minister in the Department for Environment for a few years now, so she's probably, hopefully, going to get across her brief very quickly.

And one of the first announcements is that

the UK government will be announcing its delayed circular economy growth plan very soon.

Now, I'm not sure how soon is soon, but we've been waiting for this thing since October last year.

Those who follow such things will remember that they put together this circular economy task force of some of the great and good of industry, whether it be in reuse or consumer electronics, recycling.

to try and come up with a plan to transition to a more circular economy.

Most of the policies on circular economy have been packaging EPR and DRS, which frankly is simply not enough.

And I know lots of people who are on that task force are

quite frustrated because they put in lots of unpaid hours to try and put together this plan.

And it's basically been shelved for not far off a year now, nine, 10 months or whatever.

So we hope to see that plan soon.
