Thanks for the invitation.

Very pleased to do that.

And ours is somewhat of an uncommon story.

And to your point, it goes back some time, not quite 30 years, but certainly a long time.

This is our 28th year.

since we began operations as a company.

And I was privileged to launch this company alongside of scientific founders and other scientists who were experts in an area of biology that we committed to mine for a new pharmacology.

And we like to joke nobody's ever going to accuse us of being an overnight success.

But we have been working very diligently and with focus to build an unusual type of company, one very disciplined to this biology, and that is the cytoskeleton and the mechanics of cell behavior, and a business that's rooted in a different approach to how we

aim our science, where we access and how we deploy capital, and how the R&D and commercial ambitions of the company synchronize to align to where we are today.

Cytokinetics has pioneered and leads in this area of muscle biology, specifically

towards a pipeline of new medicines in specialty cardiology,

And that culminated in an FDA approval of our first medicine in December, coincident with approval in China, and also a positive CHMP opinion all in December.

And as was enabling of us to turn the page onto our business, as we now go to market,

a REMS program and enabling of physicians to be certified for patients to be getting our first medicine, a drug called mycorzo that's now approved for the treatment of obstructive HCM in the United States.

I agree that there's been a shift in the biopharma sentiments towards specialty cardiology.

I'd like to think cytokinetics is leading the way there, but also other companies like Anilam and Bridge Bio doing quite substantial things as they innovate also.

But I'll also tell you that this company follows behind another company I was involved with in the 1990s that did a similar thing, a company called Core Therapeutics that developed a new antithrombotic with a similar business model.

And there we went.
