And we've been good students of those companies that have gone to Europe, as well as those who went to Europe and perhaps they failed.
And there are plenty of examples of both.
And where we see our fit for purpose strategy is in a way that's staged so that we deploy resources in a hub and spoke model with headquarters staff primarily readying market access, medical affairs, legal, finance, and otherwise, but only deploying in countries where we have visibility to proximal reimbursement.
and so that we can do this in a staggered and staged, gated way, country by country, and in a cost-efficient way.
And we expect to be launching in Germany, where we get to set price in Q2, and other countries based on HTA submissions later this year and in 2027, 2028.
Because we're not going to market solely with one medicine, but also we expect that one to have additional labeled expansions and two other medicines directed to the same molecular target, three modulators of cardiac myosin, all directed to the same concentrated tractable customer segment,
We think we can build a valuable business in Europe where, frankly, most companies likely could not.
And we think it affords us a franchise strategy extension to Europe, similar to rationale for why we think we can build a valuable business in the United States, but for where we also know our limitations and we're partnering in Japan, China, and rest of world or most of world countries.
So there are 20,000 to 30,000 cardiologists in the country now.
There are roughly 10,000 that account for the majority of the treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Within that, there are roughly 2,000 that are currently or have previously prescribed a cardiac myosin inhibitor.
I'm referring to BMS's Camxios.
And of those, there are roughly 700 accounting for 80% of the current prescriptions.
So we think in a tiered, waved fashion with respect to reach and frequency, we can address where there's still quite ample opportunity.
We believe BMS is currently doing a good job.
They'll likely announce over a billion dollars in worldwide sales for CAMSIOs for 2025.
But we think in the United States, there's still
Over 80% of the market not yet penetrated.
And we need to do a good job of following their lead, but also perhaps casting a wider net to be enabling of more physicians to be comfortable prescribing a cardiac myosin inhibitor for more patients.
And we do believe our strategy is well positioned for that.
