All it takes for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing.
And I'm just not going to be that person.
Yeah, so it's an interesting background.
I do truly believe, even as you and I sit here today and people listen and watch, I believe that God puts us where we are meant to be, all of us, that just at this very moment, this is where we are meant to be.
And my life experience was growing up, working for World War II vets through 17, 18 years,
My father never went to college.
He was enlisted Navy.
I ended up, my mom was a school teacher who for a lot of the time raised the four of us.
And she just said, you got to go out and get an education, Bobby.
We had no money, zip.
We had no electric heat.
We chopped wood to be able to heat the house.
But, you know, on a wish and a prayer, I ended up at Dartmouth, Oxford University, studying in economics, Columbia Law School.
The Reagan White House clerked for a U.S.
Court of Appeals clerk, Reagan appointee on the Ninth Circuit, so that was like a little patch of heaven in the middle of hell.
And then I became assistant secretary of state, and I had 10 years Navy intelligence, and I've run a company for 25 years helping the Pentagon.
And law enforcement was a huge part of what I've done for the last 30 years.
So I look back here, I come to Maine and I say, you know, it really was other people who said to me, Bobby, look at this.
You managed billions of dollars.
You know, you shut down bureaucrats at the State Department.
